I have no words for how deeply this touched me. I grew up in a close family and created a close family for myself and it NEVER occurred to me that estrangement could happen, until it did. I have never known such pain and grief, but you are right — there is life on the other side. There has to be because we don’t have a choice but to continue moving forward.
