Thank you for posting this. I can vouch for it being absolute truth. As parents we do want to believe that our kids know better, and they do, but that does not stop them from doing it. Our children learn to be master deceivers by middle school and by high school, they are deceiving you. That does not mean give up, it just means try harder. Be in their faces and stop trying to be their friend. There is time for that when they are adults. They will “hate” you for parenting them, but love them enough to do it anyway. Great article.
